Wine and spirits stores
Majority of the countries, cities and towns are usually flooded with Wine and Spirits Stores. These days’ villages also may offer one or two of them. In big cities, you can find a few in one given area. More often than not every spirit store retails all types of liquors. They do not limit their retailing only to wines, beers, or spirits. Their inventory offers you a variety to suit each customers need, taste and occasion.
These wine and spirits stores have to function under certain rules and regulations which are governing their country, state or city as a whole. The most important being, their store has to own a spirit or liquor license. This can be obtained by paying a license fee after checking all the credentials of the License Applicant. This license needs renewal at stipulated periods (a few years usually) There is no guarantee that the renewal fees will be the same as the last time. If the State decides, they have the authority to increase it or even confiscate your license in case of any bridge of agreement.
Some countries initially did not allow the wine and spirits stores to operate on Sundays. On Sundays, they had to observe a mandatory holiday. However, now this rule has been relaxed in many of those countries and if the store owner is interested in making a quick buck by working on a Sunday also, he is free to do so.
The spirits stores retailers have to be very cautious while making their sales. Caution and honesty calls for that they do not sell their wines and spirits to children less than 18 years of age. If the buyer and the seller are negligent or disobedient and for any reason the customer who is less than 18 years is caught with the booze and the retailer’s bill – the retailer can get into serious legalities along with his customer.
In some countries – certainly India, the wine and spirits stores cannot operate on public holidays. If a retailer tries to commit a breach by selling under the counter, he again can get into serious trouble with the police and liquor authorities.
The wine and spirits’ customers should also be responsible and God fearing and adhere to all the liquor and spirits’ rules and regulations and not unnecessarily invite trouble on themselves, their bodies and their families. Every wine and spirit consumer should be aware how much is his good limit of consumption and then try to be a little below that limit. It is also the customer’s onus not to drive after consuming any amount of wine or spirit. If he does so, he is risking his own as well as other people’s life.
Every wine and spirits consumer should be responsible and disciplined enough to enjoy his spirits liquor or license liquor or green liquor in the comforts of his liquor city and liquor land by making the most of all the liquor on sale in wine and spirits stores. Does not matter whether the liquor is – cheap liquor, top liquor or online liquor. Behave disciplined and live like a liquor king in your liquor land.
